Welcome to the Training Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy, an educational program of Noeticus Counseling Center and Training Institute (see http://www.noeticus.org). We offer a variety of innovative and cutting edge learning opportunities for mental health professionals that are rooted in the somatic, expressive, and contemplative traditions.
In particular, we offer a two year post-graduate Certificate Program in movement-oriented, body-centered approaches to psychotherapy. The inaugural class is slated to begin in the summer of 2008.
The Certificate Program is designed for individuals who have already completed a master's degree in a mental health discipline and want to receive additional training in movement-oriented, body-centered approaches to psychotherapy.
The Certificate Program can be taken as a sequenced course of study that is divided into specific modules over a two year period of time, although it is also possible to take each of the various classes separately with prior approval by the Institute director.
If taken as a sequenced course of study over two years the Certificate Program is designed to meet alternate route requirements for registration as a Dance/Movement Therapist Registered (DTR) with the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA) and as a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist (RSMT) with the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA).
For more information about the Certificate Program or to receive an application for matriculation into the 2008 Certificate Program, please contact Ryan Kennedy, Executive Director, at 303-399-9988 or ryan@noeticus.org.
